With the recent release (and popularization) of OpenClaw, I thought I'd use the Raspberry Pi Cluster I created for Firefly to make an instance of OpenClaw. I decided to use Github's Student discounts for Github Copilot to allow me free usage of all major models including Opus 4.6 (which just released yesterday, as of writing this)
For integrations and tooling, I gave it access to the bare minimum, configuring the plugins for Google Maps, Google Search, Restriced non-sudo commands, and a few others. I then set up a Discord bot and server to communicate with it, and played around with it configuring the Discord server for me.

Gave it access to a few extra tools and played around with the newer versions of OpenClaw, but honestly, seems excessive for personal use.
(Also, Github doesn't offer Opus 4.6 or the latest ChatGPT models anymore, it's actually tragic)

I've picked this project up again! This time, I'm building a solution closer to Siri that uses my desktop
for running local LLMs. BT's code is public, so click the github link at the top of this article to read in-depth
about my approach!
(Side note, the fact that I was using Github Copilot for AI aged poorly lol)
